Firewall

LabCom accesses data through SQL Server. A suitable opening needs to be made in the corporate firewall to allow this access.

This is an outgoing connection from your site so often it isn't a problem. However on some occasions IT staff need to ensure suitable security access is made. Hence they may need the following details. SQL Server uses port 1433.

Microsoft have an article in their knowledge base TCP Ports Needed for Communication to SQL Server Through a Firewall.

Please contact our support staff for advice on this.
